By all means, bring your bikes! Mountain bikers can look forward to roaming the park's 500 miles of back roads. You'll find some great downhill rides in the moutains. Stay off hiking trails unless they are specifically marked for bikes, but the roads are all yours!
Road cyclists from casual to professional enjoy great roads, great weather, and light traffic. It’s easy to construct tours from 5 to 100 miles, with or without hills. Speaking of hills, why not try Montezuma Grade just outside town – 3,400’ vertical gain in just 10 miles!
Our area provides some world-class training opportunities for those wanting to stay in form through the winter months. Where else can you easily traverse 10,000' vertical distance in under 100 miles? And when you're done with your ride, relax in warm, sunny Borrego Springs – and tackle a different ride the next day.
We also have a growing number of organized rides based here, which means you can tackle a century secure in the knowledge that you're part of a group – have the best of both worlds.
